Towards your destination
SOUL AND YOUR TRUE SELF
Your soul has always been there and always will be there.
It reflects the deep and authentic knowing about who you are, what you must do and what makes you grow and flourish.
YOUR SOUL’S ASPIRATIONS
Your soul’s aspirations are the guideline of your personal development on the way to your destination, your True Self.
YOUR DESTINATION
Your soul’s destination is palpable in the moments where you experience yourself and your life as fulfilled and meaningful. When a profound feeling of love for yourself, others and the world is close by. Your soul is the guardian of your destination. Your soul’s aspirations indicate the path to it.
Towards your potential
BODY & SOUL
Your body is soulful and a gateway to your inner world. Through for example breathing, facial expressions, gestures, movement, and posture, you express what is important to you.
THE DESIRE FOR SELF-ACTUALISATION
Your intrinsic desire for (emotional) growth and the development of your qualities makes you feel alive and is the force behind change, innovation, and development.
BALANCE BETWEEN OPPOSITES
We are continuously looking for balance between opposites such as: relaxation and tension, resilience and stress, perseverance and letting go, connection and freedom, feeling and thinking, empathy and assertiveness, together and alone, inside and outside, work and leisure, etc.
SELF-LOVE
Love for yourself goes together with a realistic, honest view of yourself combined with empathy and kindness. Self-love acknowledges and accepts your strengths and weaknesses; it can forgive yourself and learn from mistakes. Self-love is a combination of humility and taking space, transcending apparent opposites and a feeling of connection and self-acceptance.
EMOTION AS YOUR COMPASS
Your deepest, authentic emotions are the reflection of your soul on what is happening within yourself and around you and what is needed to stay healthy and get closer to your destination. However, some learned emotions act like a poorly calibrated compass because they steer you down the wrong path and lead to stress and loss of connection. Getting to know the difference between the two is crucial.
LETTING GO OF SABOTEUR THOUGHTS
If your thoughts are connected to your soul, they help you to be aware of what is important to you. However, sometimes thoughts are programmed to confuse you and can be extremely stressful. They are often negative and incorrect about yourself and your life. To let go of these 'saboteur thoughts' it is necessary to get to know them, explore the history of these thoughts, let them become a thing of the past and replace them with thoughts that are friendly and helpful.
LIVING INSTEAD OF SURVIVING
Past experiences of lack of attunement and emotional pain lead to behavioral and emotional patterns in the here and now, which fuel stress reactions as if you would otherwise not be able to survive: They disrupt your image of yourself and others, limit the freedom to be yourself, make life unnecessarily complicated and lead to tension and loneliness.
TRANSCENDING YOURSELF & PERFORMANCE
Work or activities that are both challenging and satisfying express your qualities in the best possible way, allowing you to thrive, perform and perhaps even transcend yourself.
LIFE TRANSITIONS & SELF-FULFILLMENT
Life transitions are the gateway to self-fulfillment if we do not allow ourselves to be discouraged by temporary pain, fear, and difficulty.
Towards other people
CONNECTION
The feeling of connection with other people is one of the most basic human needs: we need each other, we are connected. Feeling connected is associated with emotional safety, trust, belonging, feeling loved and wanted and feeling right just the way you are. The opposite, a feeling of separation, brings loneliness, fear, stress, and promotes hardness.
AUTONOMY
In addition to the need to feel connected, people also long for autonomy, individuation, and freedom. 'Dependency' and 'independence' can go together and in this combination, they are beneficial to your well-being. Positive experiences of connectedness are even the breeding ground for individuality and autonomy without causing fear or hardening.
SAFE, SEEN & SUPPORTED
Feeling mutually SAFE, SEEN & SUPPORTED is what people need from people, at work and at home.
THE LOVE RELATIONSHIP
The special relationship with your life partner revolves around the feeling of a safe connection and intimacy. When this is disturbed by painful interactions and injuries, anxiety, stress, anger, and withdrawal arise. A safe relationship where you feel seen and supported gives you the strength to grow and flourish as a person.
FAMILY
Your life with other people starts in the womb. From the beginning you find yourself in a network of relationships among family members - even the ancestors - and other people and circumstances that leave a strong mark on your development. Being consciously human means integrating positive experiences from your childhood and letting go of negative ones to get closer to your destination and your True Self.
